Description of Big Buddha Cheese feminized seeds

Big Buddha Cheese is the UK’s #1 strain, famous worldwide and winner of countless awards.

We originally crossed a clone only with our pure Afghani male from our library.

Two years of selective back-crossing allowed us to isolate specific traits we loved.

The Big Buddha Cheese in feminised seed form retains its mother’s old-skool taste and, with the help of the original Afghani, has a higher overall yield than the original mother.

Big Bud Strain Origin

Big Bud is a well-established marijuana strain. Although its exact origin is unknown, theirs is a popular story behind it. According to marijuana history, it originated in the U.S. during the latter part of Nixon’s administration.

It supposedly made its way to the Netherlands before the country’s war on drugs cracked down on cannabis. Some expected this marijuana strain to disappear altogether. Instead, breeders continued to perfect its genetics, eventually producing the easy-to-grow densely packed buds that we have today. The suspected parents of Big Bud are Afghani Indica, Northern Lights and Skunk No. 1.

Today, Big Bud remains popular for all kinds of growers due to its high yields. Staying true to its lineage as an indica strain, Big Bud delivers deep full-body effects that will highly motivate you to relax. Known as a “go to sleep” strain, it’s mostly suitable as a nighttime high. That’s because once you pass out, you’ll be out like a baby for hours.

Growing Big Bud Feminized Seeds

These are feminized seeds. Female plants, contrary to male plants, are the ones that actually produce weed. They start flowering when they receive less light per day, i.e. in the Fall or when you manipulate the light cycle indoors.

Big Bud Plants

Because the stalks are so thick, it’s wise to provide support for them using tensioned strings or wires. Despite its size, Big Bud is a pretty easy strain to grow. But, for the best outcome, you should top and bend the plants early on to encourage better horizontal growth.

Preferred Climate

Big Buddha Cheese Feminized seeds be grown indoors or outdoors in warm climates. These plants can grow to be over 5 feet high in height. So, some prefer to grow it outdoors for maximum height potential.

However, some expert growers suggest creating a hydroponic setup indoors for growing Big Bud. This method will only increase the size of its buds and stalks. You need those thick branches to hold the weight of this strain’s massive flowers.

Flowering & Yield

When growing Big Bud indoors, the expected yield will be between 12 to 20 ounces per square meter. Including curing time, it should take about 7-9 weeks for the plants to flower completely. For the best results, be sure to provide support in areas where the branches become very heavy. This will prevent them from snapping or bending.

Using hydroponics and a method known as Sea of Green will help these plants yield the most.

Growing Big Bud outside is possible as well, although this plant thrives best in sunny, Mediterranean-like climates. This will yield you about 25 ounces or more per plant, with harvesting taking place in October.

Big Bud is a high yields for both home and commercial growers. It also produces some of the largest flowers on the retail cannabis market. This indica strain produces very few leaves, so the majority of the weed plant is delicious, consumable, smokable marijuana. Very few other strains of cannabis can touch its legendary productivity.
